Triad’s new 300,000 sq ft, state-of-the-art facility complies with all environmental and manufacturing policies and rules of OSHA, FDA and EPA. We have a deep respect and profound commitment to protect the environment. As a successful global organization, it is our goal to select and develop products and packaging that are as environmentally friendly as possible. Triad adheres to a continuing education philosophy in order to stay current on the issues that will help maintain and achieve a clean, healthy ecosystem.  

At Triad we require that our products, services and manufacturing processes meet rigorous standards, ensuring the most up-to-date technologies available to help protect the quality of life for future generations. This philosophy is one in which Triad seeks to limit the amount of waste produced by our company. We at Triad ask all of our suppliers to join us in this same philosophy and business practices. The following are some of the initiatives that we have incorporated into our environmental program:

• Energy saving fluorescent lighting in the warehouse
• Captured heat from compressors used to heat warehouse and tank farm
• Treat all waste water before releasing to the sewer system
• Recycling programs in place for cardboard and non-woven waste
• Timed lights throughout building
• We use only No. 2 polyethelene recyclable plastic for most of our product packaging. This type of plastic requires 25% less energy for production and can be recycled or used as an energy source.
• We have very little waste from our manufacturing process and follow all guidelines and rules for disposal.
• CFC’s are banned from all of our products

• We make every effort to reduce and eliminate the use of VOC’s and phosphates in our product formulations.
• We are involved in the research and development of new products that are environmentally friendly
• We require our paper products, packaging and sales literature to use recycled or recyclable papers when at all possible.

The environmental issues such as the green house effect, ozone depletion, solid waste, landfill, etc. are important to Triad as well as to you at both your workplace and at home. As both consumers and citizens of planet earth, we must all work together to make intelligent decisions that guide us in choosing companies whose products, services, manufacturing processes, and packaging have impact on the well being of our environment today and in the future. At Triad we are doing our part to reduce waste, as well as recycle and reuse our resources, and we encourage others to be involved too. The small effort we make today will pay big dividends for a better, safer tomorrow!
